Building the Digital Gateway to Liberty

Building the Digital Gateway to Liberty

When you embark on a project of historic proportions, you don’t just need a vendor; you need a partner who can handle both the creative spark and the technical grind. As we prepared to launch the digital home for Road to Liberty, we found that partner in the team at Big Red Jelly.

From the very beginning, they gave us the "leg up" we needed. Their team provided a suite of creative and technical assets that transformed our initial vision into a world-class platform. On March 31, 2026, we officially launched the first iteration of the website, setting a new standard for historical storytelling.

Navigating the "Pre-Sanction" Phase

One of the unique challenges of our first launch was timing. While we had received verbal sanction from America250, the legal paperwork was still being finalized, meaning we couldn't yet include their official branding. The development team navigated this nuance perfectly, building a site that was prestigious and powerful enough to stand on its own while remaining ready for upcoming revisions and expansions.

Growth Under Pressure: The May 7 Milestone

As we moved toward official sanctioning, the project didn't just sit still—it exploded. Two new major branches, Voices of Liberty and Journey to Liberty, were born in music only and Washington's Final Testament editions. Suddenly, the website needed to expand to accommodate two versions of all three sanctioned "albums" of content.

The second phase of development came with a vigorously detailed specification and an even tighter schedule. Once again, the agency rose to the occasion. On May 7, 2026, we launched the fully expanded site, complete with all sanctioned materials, right on time.

The A-Team: Going Above and Beyond

While the whole agency was impressive, a few individuals truly defined what it means to be "world-class":

Justin, Joshua, and Azam: These three were the engine room of the project. They went above and beyond the call of duty, resolving complex technical issues as they arose and meeting deadlines that many would have called impossible. Their dedication ensured that the Road to Liberty remained an immersive and seamless experience for every visitor.

A Vision Realized

Agency CEO Josh Webber took a chance on this project at its inception, and the results speak for themselves. After the project was completed, his reflection on the partnership echoed the pride we feel in the final product:

"It was an absolute honor for the Big Red Jelly team to partner with Road to Liberty and build this historic website. I deeply admire everything this brand stands for—bringing the history and heartbeat of the American Revolution to life for a modern audience. We couldn't be prouder of the great work we accomplished together to help share this vision with the world. Our team LOVES working with you, and we all support your mission."

Building a digital experience for a national milestone is no small feat. Thanks to the technical prowess and creative spirit of the team, we didn't just meet our goals—together we launched a world-class legacy.
