On a recent business trip, my wife and I passed a historical park in the middle of the Mojave Desert at a place called Yermo, California. We decided to stop and see what Liberty Sculpture Park was all about.
The site immediately recalled the message found in the Road to Liberty song, "Freedom's Flame," and George Washington's narrative description of the fires of liberty spreading worldwide. I lack the words to describe my feelings after seeing and reading of the horrors perpetrated in recent history, as our Asian and Russian brothers and sisters have struggled and bled for the cause of liberty in their own countries.
